ANUALLE EXHIBITS Part I: Not Your Usual Portraits

Color Rendering Class by Vincent Padilla.  Its quite impossible for these paintings not to be noticed because they are certainly eye-catching and impressive. These stunning portraits which were created during the 2nd term of SY 2010-2011 are currently on display outside the 5th floor theater.

As a requirement for their final plate for this term, the students, coming from different courses are made to do portraits of themselves with the techniques and skills they learned from the beginning of this class. Color Rendering is basically a class where students not only get to learn how to paint but they taught the fundamentals of color.

Artists at Work. When asked, some of these students completely had not a single idea about painting when the term began. It’s totally impressive how these kids manage to develop a great deal of skill within a matter of a few months. This is yet again another one of those outputs that make you feel proud you are a Benildean.

Vincent Padilla, Color Rendering Professor. Its no doubt that the Professor certainly taught his students with zeal because their outputs truly speak real ability.
